Originally from New York and now based in Los Angeles, Nika Fouquet launched Tutor Doctor Santa Monica in April 2013 with no prior business experience—just a strong belief in the power of education and community. Over the past decade, she has built her business from the ground up, serving more than 120 students annually with the support of 75 dedicated tutors and generating $320K–$360K in annual revenue.
Through hands-on learning and adaptability, Nika has developed expertise in marketing, sales, time management, and team leadership, all while balancing the demands of entrepreneurship and family life. As a mother of two boys—one in college and one in high school—and two dogs, Nika is passionate about helping other business owners find sustainable ways to grow while maintaining personal balance and healthy boundaries.
