Nick began his coaching journey at age 15, leading a local children’s badminton club as part of a sports leadership course. That early passion led him to complete a BA (Hons) in Sports Leadership and, in 2005, he joined a kids’ sports franchise when it was still a small UK start-up with just a dozen franchise units.
Over the next 15 years, Nick played a central role in the company’s global expansion. He became a multi-unit franchisee in the UK, trained new franchisees across multiple countries, and in 2012, relocated to Canada to support international growth. By the time he stepped down as COO in 2020, the network had grown to over 330 franchise territories across 34+ countries.
Since then, Nick has qualified as a business coach, launched his own consultancy, and is actively working toward his Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation. He specializes in franchisor and franchisee growth through operational excellence, training systems, and values-driven leadership.
Now as Head of Franchise Operations (North America) at Tutor Doctor, Nick brings over two decades of experience and a deep passion for purposeful franchising that empowers people to thrive in business and in life.
