Nicelle DePatie is the proud owner of one of the Tutor Doctor Calgary franchises, servicing the communities in the NW and SW since 2014. First pursuing a Bachelor of Education degree, Nicelle continued to challenge herself with a career in Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Business Development at UPS, then Canadian Pacific Railway. Her experiences in the business world, coupled with her passion for teaching and mentoring, made owning and operating a Tutor Doctor Franchise an obvious career choice.
She focuses on building a business known for the quality of the people involved and has a sincere approach focusing on vigorous customer service to her tutors and clients. This is evident in a solid year-after-year NPS score of over 90% and a Google 5-star rating. A former Presidents Club winner, Global Franchise Customer Service award winner (two years in a row), Franchisee of the Year nominee, and many community awards are just some of her accolades.
As an educator and especially as a mother, Nicelle knows the joys and challenges of keeping students on track to achieve their goals. The positive outcomes of achieving these students' goals and goals within her business have been attributable to Nicelle’s core pedology: CONNECTION. Connection with her staff, tutors and clients is prevalent in her day-to-day operations. This trickles down to her tutors, who are hired based on their ability to ‘connect’ to ensure they leave behind a positive Tutor Doctor educational outcome that they can discuss with their friends and family.
