Elizabeth Maranto is a native Texan who grew up in a small town in the northeast corner of the state. She had the amazing opportunity of living in Italy, England, and Colorado while her husband, Rico, served in the US Air Force. They are the proud parents of four adult children, two bonus teenage girls, and a beautiful granddaughter. Elizabeth is personally invested in the education of her community as a parent, grandparent, and educator. Her great love is teaching reading, and she believes that reading and literature can broaden children’s minds, open worlds to them (whether real or imaginary) and create vast possibilities for their futures. She loves promoting literacy and has worked to establish relationships and create activities to support this in her local community. Her vision for Tutor Doctor Kingwood is to take the motto of “Changing the trajectory of children’s lives” and making it a part of every decision she makes as she builds her business in the years to come.
